Valorant

The year is 2020. The pandemic has forced video game developers to work remotely, which has slowed the creation of new games considerably. Many games are delayed, or—in the case of one very famous example—debuting to disaster. Enter Riot. Valorant premieres, and streamers flock to its open beta pre-launch. When Riot came to Imgur to assist with the game launch, I decided to partner with Melee, Imgur’s video game-obsessed sister app. I worked with popular streamers to capture unique Valorant gameplay, and wrote copy to suit.
